Terms of use
Last updated
These terms apply when you use Operandi, the app and the service behind it. You accept them when you create your account. The privacy policy explains what Operandi keeps about you and why.
Who provides Operandi
Operandi is provided by Meffecta AB, organisation number 556916-8106, Melodislingan 46, 115 51 Stockholm, Sweden (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@operandiapp.com.
What Operandi is
Operandi is a logbook for the operations you have performed or assisted in: the procedure, the hardware, how it was done and what you would change. It is there so that you can look back at your own work.
Operandi is not a medical record, and it does not replace the records your hospital or clinic keeps. It is not a medical device either: it does not diagnose, recommend treatment or check what you enter. What it shows you is what you have written yourself, and decisions about patients remain yours.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 to create an account.
- You sign in with a code sent to your email address. Anyone who can read your email can sign in to your account, so keep your email secure.
- The account is yours alone. Do not share it.
- If you think someone else has used your account, tell us at once at hello@operandiapp.com.
No patient identifiers
Operandi is built so that nothing you log identifies a patient. It has no field for a patient’s name, personal identity number or record number. You must not enter these, or anything else from which a patient can be identified, in the free-text fields or anywhere else. You are responsible for following the rules on confidentiality that apply to you, including your employer’s.
What you write
What you write in Operandi is yours. We keep it only to provide the service to you, as the privacy policy describes, and use it for nothing else. We do not look at it unless you ask us to, for example to fix a fault you report, or the law requires it. We share it with no one except the providers who run the service for us, named in the privacy policy, or where the law requires it.
Testing and price
Operandi is in early testing. Features will change, and there may be faults. We take care of your data, but do not rely on Operandi as the only place you keep something you cannot afford to lose.
Operandi is free while it is being tested. If that changes, we will tell you before anything costs money, and you can delete your account before then.
Using Operandi fairly
Use Operandi for what it is, a professional logbook, and within the law. Do not try to reach other people’s data, disrupt the service, or get around its limits or security.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app, under Account. It closes at once, and you are signed out on every device. If you sign in again within 30 days, it opens again as it was. After 30 days, the account and everything in it are deleted for good.
We may close an account that breaks these terms. Unless the breach is serious or the law prevents it, we will tell you by email first and say why. If we stop providing Operandi, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before.
Liability
We provide Operandi as it is while it is being tested, and cannot promise that it will always be available or free of faults. We are not liable for indirect loss, for lost data, or for the consequences of decisions made on the basis of what you have logged. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that Swedish law does not allow us to limit.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, the date at the top changes with them, and we will tell you by email or in the app before a change that matters takes effect. If you do not accept the new terms, you can delete your account. Using Operandi after they take effect means you accept them.
Law and disputes
Swedish law applies to these terms. Disputes are settled by the Swedish courts, with Stockholm District Court (Stockholms tingsrätt) as the first instance.
